Our Story
How Brixus came to be
The Problem
While Dutch schools enjoy a liberal market for choosing their own teaching materials, they often face an overabundance of hastily produced books, workbooks, and other resources that vary widely in quality. Teachers struggle to adapt these commercially driven materials and spend considerable time reworking lessons for clarity and relevance.
The Idea
Kubilay and Kerem Tarhan recognized this challenge and envisioned a platform that would empower educators to create their own high-quality, interactive educational materials. They believed that by combining AI assistance with an open-source-inspired collaboration model, they could revolutionize how educational content is created and consumed.
The Solution
Brixus was born as an online learning and content creation platform that enables educators to produce high-quality, interactive, and gamified educational materials. The platform serves both educators, who can create and publish custom courses, and students, who benefit from engaging, practice-oriented learning enhanced by features such as achievement badges, instant feedback, and progress tracking.
