Most learning material is static: a PDF, a slide deck, a wall of text. Brixus restructures it into a living digital textbook with questions embedded in the reading flow, a glossary that becomes flashcards, practice sessions, and page-by-page progress tracking. The AI does the heavy lifting, but the creator stays in control — approving the structure before generation and refining everything afterwards in a real-time collaborative editor.
Just as important: creators own and monetize their work. Books can be sold individually or bundled into paid communities, and earnings flow to the creator's bank account. There are no platform subscription tiers — pricing is set by the people who make the content.

Kubilay Tarhan
Founder
Kubilay is a computer scientist with a background in Computer Science and Business Innovation. With four years of experience designing and developing enterprise software solutions, he brings expertise in scalability, reliability, and user-centric design. He holds a background in teaching and didactics from VU University's pre-university college, giving him deep insight into effective teaching methods and student motivation.
Our Story
How Brixus came to be
The Problem
Despite a multitude of educational products, teachers and learners frequently report the same core issues: outdated or inflexible materials, limited opportunities for active engagement, and difficulty fully grasping theoretical concepts. Research indicates that more practice correlates with higher test scores, yet creating interactive exercises is time-consuming. Additional research shows that gaming mechanics enhance student engagement and understanding—but implementing such systems is challenging for individual educators.
The Idea
Kubilay Tarhan recognized this challenge and envisioned a platform that would empower educators to create their own high-quality, interactive educational materials. By combining AI assistance with an open-source-inspired collaboration model, Brixus aims to revolutionize how educational content is created and consumed.
The Solution
Brixus closes these gaps with an AI pipeline that turns a single upload into a complete interactive book — chapters, seven kinds of auto-gradable questions, a glossary, flashcards, and a mind map — with the creator approving the structure before generation runs. A real-time collaborative editor makes refining that content a multiplayer experience, and built-in learning science keeps readers engaged and retaining what they study.
Today and Beyond
Brixus is live at app.brixus.eu : creators publish and sell interactive books, learners study them with flashcards and practice sessions, and earnings are paid out to creators' bank accounts. We're now focused on growing the marketplace and deepening the learning tools — turning every document worth reading into a course worth studying.
