What you get when you buy a book on Brixus, and what happens if something goes wrong.

1. Who we are

Books on brixus.eu are sold by:

Some books are written by independent creators and published on our marketplace. We are the seller in every case: you pay us, and we handle your purchase and any questions about it.

2. Buying a book

A book is digital content. Buying one gives you personal, non-transferable access to read it and practise its questions in your Brixus account, on the web and in the Brixus Android app, for as long as the book stays available on Brixus. You may not copy, resell or redistribute its content.

Prices are shown on the book page. Applicable VAT is calculated at checkout from your billing address. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. You receive an invoice by email after paying.

3. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU and the UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that right ends once delivery has started, provided you agreed to that beforehand.

Access to a book starts the moment your payment clears. At checkout you therefore confirm that you request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access starts. You cannot complete the purchase without this confirmation, and it is repeated on your invoice.

Because of this, book purchases are final and not refundable except as described in the next section.

4. If something is wrong

Your statutory rights are not affected by the section above. If a book is not delivered to your account, or does not work or does not match its description, contact us. We will fix the problem, and if we cannot fix it within a reasonable time you are entitled to a price reduction or a full refund.

5. Community subscriptions

Some communities charge a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. No further payments are taken after that.

6. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
